Success At Arm's Length

It is impossible to imagine life today without information technologies and its main counterpart - computers. They are everywhere - not only in offices and homes, but also inside phones, TV sets, elevators, vehicles, supermarkets, from giant mainframes to microchips, barely visible to a naked eye. However, computer is not only the hardware; it also consists of important ingredients like networks, software, data security, protection against viruses and hackers attacks and many others.

Naturally, well-oiled and tight IT infrastructure means arrangement and supervision of all these ingredients in compliance with generally accepted standards, in order to ensure smooth work, eliminating employees' need to wonder what's inside the black box?

Nevertheless, just like people cannot live without computers, they cannot live without those who maintain and care for the computers. Software installations and updates, configurations, security monitoring, projecting and development of new systems, data backups, user support and training - those are just a few aspects that IT architects and system administrators need to handle on a regular basis, along with solving everyday problems like "paper jammed in the printer" or "I can't send the e-mail".
